Jim Geiger Welding Technology Memorial Scholarship was established in 2023 in memory of James (Jim) Geiger, Sr. by his children, James, Jr., Mark, and Claire to support welding technology students at MCC. Jim was a talented tradesperson and worked in a wide variety of industries throughout his career, including steam fitting and welding. This scholarship can be used to purchase tools and equipment for use in their welding program.
Scholarship Criteria:
- Students must enroll in welding programs
- All MCC students
- Must have a cumulative GPA of 2.0
- FAFSA recommended. Will consider both need and no need.
Scholarships are usually offered during the spring and fall quarters. Scholarship availability varies depending on donor giving.
