Student-Prepared Lunch & Dinner

The Sage Student Bistro operates as a customer-focused classroom providing our students an opportunity to refine their culinary, bakery, service and supervisory skills. In this setting, the element of time is as important as the food and service. Because it is a classroom, the Bistro is open when classes are in session. A standard menu is offered at lunch, and features student specials. Dinner service offers tasting menus and weekly prix fixe specials. Find us on Facebook for media and additional information.

Menus

Lunch | Students in the Casual Dining course design and prepare sandwich specials as a part of their course work. Winter lunches begin mid December. On select dates the Casual Dining students’ sandwiches will be featured for one day only, until sold out, check back after December 2nd for updated information. The Sage Bistro opens for lunch: 12/18/23 – 12/21/23; 1/8/24-1/19/24 for lunch service, Monday through Thursday, 11:00 to 1:00. Student sandwich specials will be available soon, check back for the listing of specials!

Dinner | The American Sages Project:  We value the wisdom to be found by studying the masters of our craft. The American Sages that our students study while enrolled in Fine Dining and Plated Desserts courses provide inspiration and knowledge that help shape the menus our guests enjoy throughout the quarter. Students then create their menus to be offered for one day only, in the second half of the quarter as noted here. During these days of service, a singular prix fixe menu is designed and executed by the featured student chef.

Winter Quarter dining will begin after the Holidays, 1/10/24 - 2/20/24, Monday through Thursday, 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Please be sure to check back for more details about our Fine Dining Service.

Wine Service

The Sage Student Bistro serves wine and beer at dinner. We maintain a concise but thoughtful beverage list featuring red and white wines, as well as an assortment of local and imported beers. If you have a special bottle of wine you would like to enjoy in our restaurant, corking service is available for just $10 per 750 ml bottle.

Parking

During lunch service, guests may park in college lots as available. Reserved parking for bistro guests is available in the lot to the north of Building 22.
