What is 'Health Information Management Systems'?
The field of health information management is one of the fastest growing professions in the healthcare industry where employment is secure and advancement opportunities are plentiful. Health information management professionals possess the skills necessary to manage staff and/or systems used to collect, store, retrieve and communicate healthcare data that is used for the planning, delivery, reimbursement, protection and evaluation of patient care.
