About International Student Services

Mission Statement:

International Student Services (ISS) welcomes and supports prospective and current F-1 students to achieve their personal, educational, or career goals at Metropolitan Community College.

Purpose Statement:

ISS reviews applications for admission, provides general immigration and academic advising, and liases with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and other government agencies involved with F-1 students.

Naomi Greelis has been assisting international students in various capacities since 1999. She received her master's degree in intercultural relations with a focus in higher education administration, student affairs and international education exchange from Lesley University. Greelis holds a bachelor's degree in International Studies and a second bachelor's degree in Anthropology and Sociology from Central College. She enjoys helping F-1 students succeed in their personal and educational goals at Metropolitan Community College.
