The primary mission of the Academic Foundations Division is to provide learning opportunities and special support for students who may need to improve their basic skills in reading, writing and mathematics via the Adult Basic Education program, complete high school requirements through obtaining a GED; develop reading skills to the college level, learn English as a Second Language, acquire basic micro-computer skills and obtain assistance with basic skills related courses through the College Learning Centers.
