Academic Resource Centers provide free resources and services to support the learning needs of students across all areas of the College’s curriculum. Each center has State-of-the-Art equipment. Numerous software applications exist to support specific curriculum needs.
Metro's Academic Resource Centers can help you achieve educational success. The ARCenter staff provides drop-in assistance with basic math, reading, writing and computer skills. We offer a friendly, supportive learning environment.
Self-paced computer-assisted instructional support in reading, vocabulary, typing, and English as a Second Language is also available.
Anyone enrolled in a credit, noncredit, continuing education, ABE, ESL, or GED course at Metro may use our facilities. We also help prospective students prepare for assessments.
