Academic Support

The Mission of Academic Support is to provide assistance with building academic skills, conducting research, and utilizing resources for the college community in order to foster learning and empower individuals to achieve their goals.

Academic Resource Center (ARC)

Academic Resource Centers provide free resources and services to support the learning needs of students across all areas of the College’s curriculum. Each center has State-of-the-Art equipment.  Numerous software applications exist to support specific curriculum needs.

MCC's Academic Resource Centers can help you achieve educational success. The ARC center staff provides drop-in assistance with basic math, reading, writing and computer skills. We offer a friendly, supportive learning environment.

Self-paced computer-assisted instructional support in reading, vocabulary, typing, and English as a Second Language is also available.

Anyone enrolled in a credit, noncredit, continuing education, AE, ESL, or GED course at MCC may use our facilities. We also help prospective students prepare for assessments.
