  • MCC has worked with the facilitator of this experience, Steve Tamayo traditional
    arts instructor at Sinte Gleska University, since the inception of the Fort Omaha Intertribal Powwow in 1992.

  • MCC hosts an annual Fort Omaha Intertribal Powwow at the Fort Omaha Campus. The outdoor celebration honors the traditional dance, music, artistry, storytelling and foods of Nebraska’s Native Americans. This year, the Powwow is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 22.
