A COLLEGE EDUCATION WHILE IN HIGH SCHOOL
In addition to the Dream It! Do It! program, MCC offers a number of opportunities
for high school students to explore college and careers.
MCC's Career Academies are designed to give high school students hands-on
opportunities to explore various career fields and get a jumpstart on their
postsecondary education. Students take classes during the school day at an MCC
location in areas such as data center management, gaming, theatre technology or
emergency medical services.
This program allows any high school student in Nebraska to take courses at MCC for
half-price tuition all through high school and for the quarter immediately following a
student's graduation. The program covers all credit courses at MCC, on-site and
Dual enrollment allows high school students to earn both high school and college
credit at the same time. Students pay half-price of the current tuition rate and may
transfer their college credit to any college or university that accepts MCC credit.
