A COLLEGE EDUCATION WHILE IN HIGH SCHOOL

In addition to the Dream It! Do It! program, MCC offers a number of opportunities for high school students to explore college and careers.

CAREER ACADEMY

MCC's Career Academies are designed to give high school students hands-on opportunities to explore various career fields and get a jumpstart on their postsecondary education. Students take classes during the school day at an MCC location in areas such as data center management, gaming, theatre technology or emergency medical services.

COLLEGENOW!

This program allows any high school student in Nebraska to take courses at MCC for half-price tuition all through high school and for the quarter immediately following a student's graduation. The program covers all credit courses at MCC, on-site and online.

DUAL ENROLLMENT

Dual enrollment allows high school students to earn both high school and college credit at the same time. Students pay half-price of the current tuition rate and may transfer their college credit to any college or university that accepts MCC credit.

TOP FIVE REASONS TO TAKE COLLEGE CLASSES IN HIGH SCHOOL

  1. Half-price tuition
  2. Earn college credits that transfer
  3. Explore a career
  4. Take classes not offered at your high school
  5. Get prepared for college
