Restore Omaha site February 28, 2009, the Metropolitan Community College Foundation will once again sponsor the Restore Omaha conference, an educational opportunity for pre-1950s property owners, repair specialists and community organizations to learn and to share their passion for restoration and preservation of older properties at MCC´s South Omaha Campus.

This year´s conference features keynote speaker Kelly Sutherline McLeod, AIA, founder the of award-winning Kelly Sutherline McLeod Architecture, Inc., a firm committed to the preservation, restoration and revitalization of historically significant buildings using innovative design concepts. She is the first female recipient of the prestigious Gamble House Scholar in Residence program.

Learning sessions throughout the conference are offered on a wide breadth of topics, from learning how to repair a historic window or discovering the history of a property. The conference provides a diverse mix of experts and hands-on sessions for attendees to take away new information for specialized projects or get energized to continue their restoration work.

A Jam! Session out the conference, allowing participants an open forum to share projects and ideas.
