On-Campus Recruiting

A Student Services representative at each individual MCC location coordinates all on-campus recruiting booth space. To get started, you must first contact the representative of the campus in which you are interested in recruiting students to schedule the date and time you wish to visit.

Students, alumni and community members are interested in meeting with employers in a variety of capacities. This may include an informal or formal setting to learn more about job and internship opportunities offered by companies, government agencies, and non-profit organizations. Career Speakers and Forums

In today's competitive marketplace, it takes more than intellectual and technical preparation to stay abreast of up-to-date information on career trends and tools for success in the workplace. Career Services hosts/co-sponsors free workshops via online formatting and at various locations throughout the metropolitan area. Each month features an overarching theme with workshops facilitated by MCC staff/faculty as well as business leaders and community members. These events provide valuable resource information and offer assistance with career-related topics. Faculty Connections to Academic Program Areas

In order to build strong connections between employers and academic departments, Career Services aids by providing a framework for collaboration between business and education. Each academic area has a dean and lead faculty who create the mechanism for incorporating the needs of businesses directly into academic curricula and for communicating these needs to the students. Lead faculty members have been designated as the formal contact persons for specific academic areas and have direct contact with students.
