This course covers emerging online technologies and trends and their influence on the electronic commerce marketplace. Students learn various concepts, vocabulary, and procedures associated with all aspects of e-commerce and the Internet. Topics include the development of the Internet and e-commerce, Internet business strategies and revenue models, legal and ethical issues, features of websites and the tools used to build an e-commerce website, marketing issues, online payment options, security issues, and e-commerce planning strategies.
