HLTH 1124 EMT - Paramedic Part 3 of 4

This course is part three in a sequence of four courses in the Paramedic program that must be completed consecutively. This course provides an introduction to hematological, environmental, toxicological, behavioral, trauma, obstetrical, pediatrics, geriatric emergencies, hazardous materials, and weapons of mass destruction. Modules provide the understanding of anatomy and physiology, and the signs, symptoms, and medical care of the above mentioned emergencies. NOTE: This program has special admission requirements.
