This is an introductory course in interpersonal skills stressing the importance of utilizing those skills in the workplace. It presents opportunities to become more effective, discerning, ethical, flexible, perceptive, and understanding in both professional and personal endeavors. The course gives special attention to appropriate communication skills, multinational and diversity awareness, teamwork, and job-seeking skills as applied to an increasingly customer-oriented workplace. NOTE: The modular courses HMRL 101A, HMRL 101B, and HMRL 101C may be taken in any order and are (in combination) equivalent to HMRL 1010.
