½ c. water
1 c. sugar
1 c. walnut, halves and pieces
Mix water and sugar together in a non-stick pan and bring to a boil. Reduce heat
Once the mixture is syrupy, add the walnuts and cook until the walnuts are
completely carmelized and candied.
Separate the walnut pieces and let them rest on a sheet pan covered in parchment
until they are not sticky anymore.
