CCNA certification indicates basic knowledge of networking. It prepares you to become a help desk engineer, field technician, level 1 system engineer or integrator.

If you are still in high school, Metro's agreements with 30 local high schools enable you to complete Cisco Networking and many other courses that articulate to degree programs at no cost to you provided that your high school participates in the program and you meet the academic requirements. You have many options! Once you complete the CCNA or CCNP courses, you are thoroughly prepared to take the exams. Additional coursework will enable you to complete a Metro Certificate of Achievement in Cisco Networking. You may also continue your electronics technology education and earn your associate degree in Cisco Networking or Computer Electronics.
