Each year, 26,000 credit students attend Metropolitan Community College for the career and vocational training needed to secure employment and contribute positively to our local economy. Many of those students require financial assistance.
The Metropolitan Community College Foundation was founded to provide financial support for students, faculty, staff, programs and facilities.
As a contributor to the Metropolitan Community College Foundation, you can provide students the opportunity to realize their career goals. And because the majority of Metro graduates remain in Nebraska, you play an important role in improving our community. Visit our "Staying Current with our Students" page to see one of the many ways the foundation helps keep the college current with new technologies.
"...one effective tool that we have developed to facilitate the transition to a new job or profession has been our community colleges. [They] have been in the forefront of teaching the types of skills that build on workers' previous experience to create new job skills..."
-Alan Greenspan, Ph.D. Federal Reserve System Chairman Omaha Chamber of Commerce Annual Meeting February 20, 2004.
