Ray and Betty Memorial Scholarship

The Ray and Betty Barr Memorial Scholarship was established in 1995 in memory of Betty Barr. Betty was a longtime Nebraska educator and former MCC Board of Governors member. The purpose of this fund is to provide support for a female student who is pursuing an associate degree. Scholarship may be used for tuition, fees and books.

Scholarship Criteria:

• Financial need is required
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0
• Citizenship not required, but must be living/working legally in U.S.
• Female recipient strongly preferred

Scholarships are usually offered during the spring and fall quarters. Scholarship availability varies depending on donor giving.
