Terry McMullen - MCC Foundation Board of Directors Past President
Terry McMullen is the Managing Director of Mainfreight USA/Omaha and the President of Cargo Zone LLC - the General Purpose Foreign Trade Zone Operator for the Omaha Chamber of Commerce.
With over 30 years in the transportation industry, Terry and his wife Lori co-founded T.L.K. Air Care, Inc. currently dba (doing business as) Mainfreight USA of Omaha in July of 1991. TLK is a Nebraska company that has grown from just two employees to over 30 transport specialist, serving hundreds of clients across the Midwest with global supply chain needs for all import, export, and domestic transportation modes.
He was instrumental in reactivating the Omaha Foreign Trade Zone in 2006 and after sitting empty for over 20 years, it has been in active "daily" use since August of 2006. Cargo Zone LLC is the "General Purpose Zone Operator" for FTZ #19 acting on behalf of the Grantee - The Omaha Chamber of Commerce. Material that is imported from around the World can sit duty free, until needed for U.S. Commerce.
Currently a Board Member of the Nebraska Diplomats, Terry works with many organizations (i.e. MITA - Midwest International Trade Assoc, NLC - Nebraska Logistics Council, and NDED - Nebraska Department of Economic Development) to promote the features and benefits of Nebraska that lead to advantages in; transportation, distribution, and warehousing jobs and opportunity for companies looking to relocate here.
