Larry R. Niemann - MCC Foundation Board of Directors
Larry R. Niemann is a Campus Operations Leader for Alegent Creighton Health. He has twenty two years in developing and implementing projects as a certified project manager and twenty years in business development and healthcare innovation. Larry has operational responsibilities for multiple clinical and support areas on multiple campuses within the Alegent Creighton Health system.
Larry’s volunteer experience includes volunteering at Stephen’s Center in Bellevue as well as mentoring a youth from the Youth Emergency Services (YES) network. Other volunteering experience includes the Knights of Columbus and other various volunteering at Saint Robert’s Church, the YMCA, Habitat for Humanity and service on several Project Management committees both locally and nationally. He is also pursuing a start up local chapter with Trips for Kids.
Larry is interested in serving on the MCCF Board because he has always believed that education is the key to opening doors of opportunity. Like most organizations the Foundation is a critical partner in raising the needed resources through establishing effective community relationships. With his twenty plus years of business development and innovation he believes he can bring a unique perspective to the board. By combining this with his passion and energy to service, he feels he could help the board and MCC continue to open doors and prepare students, young and old, in achieving their dreams.College readiness is a particular interest of Larry’s. He feels the more effective job we do setting the stage, the more successful our students will be. Also, collaborating with community employers to understand their needs and challenges.
