Online credit courses are accessible using a standard web browser. The online credit courses are equivalent to on-campus courses and maintain the same academic standards. Each course is managed by a qualified MCC instructor who provides information, guides you, prompts discussion, helps with your assignments, answers your questions and grades your work.
Continuing Education offers a wide variety of topics - hundreds of classes - delivered via online through a partnership with Ed2Go, ProTrain, and VisionPoint. We offer a wide range of highly interactive short courses and videos that you may take entirely over the Internet. All have expert instructors, many are nationally known authors.

MCC’s online credit courses are delivered via a Learning Management System called Blackboard. To learn more about it visit the Getting Started Online page.

State Authorization of Courses and Programs
MCC is an approved member of the National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements (NC-SARA) and is currently authorized to offer online programs and degrees in the following states: (Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, North Dakota, Ohio, Oregon, South Dakota, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.)

Metropolitan Community College Complaint Procedures
Appeal of a final course grade follows the Grade Appeal process found in the College Catalog.
If the complaint concerns an instructor or program, contact the academic dean of the area in question.
The complaint should be brought to the attention of a staff member in the relevant College office. If there is no resolution, contact the staff member’s supervisor. If the student is still unsatisfied, contact the administrator in charge of the office.
