Together we are Making a Poem in Honor of Life

In a small town rocked by inexplicable violence, 26 characters simultaneously play themselves as victims of the event, and also their future (“potential”) selves, as if the event never happened. Written in response to the shootings in Newtown, CT, December 2012, this play proposes a theatrical answer to a real-world problem. Through fragmented storytelling, and ensemble theatre, we come to understand a broader truth.
