MCC is committed to sustainability in our classrooms, campuses and community.

Classroom
We are integrating sustainability into our curriculum from Social Sciences to Applied Technology and developing new classes to prepare our students for the growing clean and green economy.

Community
We provide sustainability education and leadership to the regional community through corporate and community education and community partnerships on sustainability projects.

Campus
We lead by example. We are integrating sustainable practices into our organizational and facility operations to improve our environmental impact, create healthier work environments and reduce our risk to fluctuating energy prices.

Sustainability Committee

We have set up a Sustainability Committee with six subcommittees (education, energy, food, stuff, transportation and water) with representatives from all areas of the College to ensure our commitment to sustainable practices and education is fully integrated throughout our organization.
