Annual leave is with pay at the employee’s hourly rate and cannot exceed the hours accrued. Regular part-time employees receive annual leave on a pro-rated basis for each month worked. Accrual of annual leave does not increase with length of service. An Absence and Leave Form must be completed by the employee and signed by the supervisor.
Employees who resign or retire will be paid out for their unused annual leave. (Procedures Memorandum VI-13)
