Disability Support Services

MCC is dedicated to serving all students in our service area. Disability Support Services (DSS) is a part of MCC's Student Services area. DSS Counselors help students with documented disabilities to reduce or eliminate any disadvantages that may exist because of a disability. A person with a disability is any person who has a physical or mental impairment, has a record of such impairment or is regarded as having an impairment that substantially limits one or more major life activity such as self-care, walking, seeing, hearing, speaking, breathing or learning. MCC offers local chapters of national groups such as the American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA) as well as MCC independent ones like the Metro Photo Club.
