MCC Offers Free Meth360™ Workshop to Students, Staff, Faculty and the Community
Metropolitan Community College is a partner in the Partners for Meth Prevention Coalition. May is Meth Prevention month in Nebraska and Iowa, and there are several events scheduled this month to provide education about all aspects of meth in our communities. MCC is sponsoring an educational workshop for students, staff and faculty as well as community members and other treatment professionals to explain Meth 360TM.
Meth360TM is a community education program that unites law enforcement, prevention and treatment professionals together to educate the community about meth. The program was developed by the Partnership for a Drug-Free America with the intention for individuals to learn more about the dangers associated with meth, as well as to take action against meth in their communities.
Please consider attending the workshop on Thursday, May 15, noon-1:30 p.m. at the Fort Omaha Campus, Bldg 7, Room 107. Parking is available in any of the lots. If you have questions, contact Chris Tarr, counselor, at 289-1315.
