Save Your Sunday Coupons
Hate to clip coupons? Do you throw them out when the Sunday paper comes to the house? We have a better solution!
The TRIO and Single Parent Program is going green and assisting students by collecting unwanted full or partial coupon inserts from Sunday papers. Put coupon inserts into a campus mail envelope each week and forward them to the TRIO office in Bldg. 5 at the FOC. Our plan is to create coupon packets to distribute to parents during workshops and events. We recycle, and students save.
Employee Professional Development
This Week's Hot Topic - Register Today!
Our Online Interpersonal and Leadership courses are presented in partnership with Development Dimensions International (DDI)® and are certified for excellence in quality, usability and instructional design by the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD).
These noncredit online courses typically take two hours or less to complete and may be accessible for up to 12 months from registration date. Features include selection of tailored administrative/healthcare/manufacturing learning paths, optional audio/video learning tools and testing to validate course sections.
Taking Charge of Your Development
Retaining high-caliber employees is a pressing problem facing businesses today. Surprisingly, lack of professional growth often beats compensation as a reason why employees are leaving. This course enables employees to initiate, create and execute their own development plans with their leader. Having employees who continuously learn and improve skills enables your company to quickly adapt to and capitalize on opportunities.

Weekly Green Tip
Keep lids on pans as you cook. Cooking without them can require three times as much energy as cooking with them on. Look for pans with glass lids if you like to keep an eye on what you are preparing.
