Metropolitan Community College is proud to recognize our nation´s veterans from all branches of the service at its annual Veterans Day Celebration on Wednesday, Nov. 11, 11 a.m.–noon at the South Omaha Campus, Conference Center. A reception will follow the program.

The celebration is designed for MCC employees and the community to honor veterans and their families. MCC employees are welcome to attend, and faculty are encouraged to attend with their classes or share the information with students so they may attend. The event is free and open to the public.

This year´s program features keynote speaker Command Chief Master Sgt. Teresa Clark, 155th Air Refueling Wing, Nebraska Air National Guard. Papillion/La Vista Junior ROTC will conduct POW/MIA Honors. Gary Sparks, full-time MCC faculty and Nebraska National Guard member, has coordinated MCC´s event each year and will serve as this year´s Master of Ceremonies.
