MCC Mural Project:
Leave a lasting impression

Metropolitan Community College is taking a drab, uninspiring 3,000-square-foot wall at the South Omaha Campus and making it come to life through a two-class mural project.

ARTS 2900: Art in the Community
Get an introduction to the greater ideology of public art and how an artist can contribute to the visual culture of the community. Work on conceptual aspects of the mural with research, design planning and community inquiry.

Tuesdays and Thursdays, March 11–May 22
4–7:30 p.m.

ARTS 2900: Mural Painting
Physically create the mural as well as visit local and regional mural and public art pieces.
