What is 'Process Operations/Power Plant Technology'? (PROT)
This program provides training for entry-level employees in a variety of continuous process operating plants. These include ethanol and bio-diesel plants along with other bio-processing industries. A complete power plant operations option is also available. Graduates are trained to operate and maintain process plants and power generating plants. The program provides students with the opportunity to engage in hands-on training within the skilled trades.

Then Process Operations Technology is for you!
Graduates in this program learn to operate and maintain bio-refineries, power plants, wastewater treatment plants and work in other industries utilizing the process operations skill set. This training prepares students for entry-level employment and advancement opportunities as technical professionals in the industry. Ongoing training for workers currently in the industry is also available.
