EITC Coalition Focus

The goal of the Reengage Omaha EITC Coalition focus is to promote financial stability through the claiming of income tax credits, financial education, and asset development among the low to middle income population of the Omaha Metropolitan Area.  Pursuing this goal will entail:

  • The acquisition of a working knowledge on agency and tax systems framework,
  • Research, mining, and evaluating of data on under serviced populations,
  • Volunteer, partner, and customer enrollments in EITC courses,
  • Conference planning for under service populations,
  • Sustainability activities (i.e. updates to resource folders, census factsheets, etc.),
  • Collaboration in the revising and reviewing of a Financial Education Workbook,
  • Collaboration in the revising and reviewing of a Financial Coaching Resource Manual,
  • Optimization of the EITC Coalition's Services, and ix) Contribute to Financial Literacy and Education Efforts.
