What Do I Do Next To Get Your Help? How Long Does The Process Take?: Client will meet with a case worker to assess what items of identification they do have and how they may obtain what is needed. The initial meeting may take up to 45 minutes and then depending on what is needed to obtain the requested piece of identification - it could take up to a week to process the request.

If approved for assistance, getting the actual piece of identification will depend on the process of the government agency that it will come from.

Social Security cards are free to everyone. However we can help them navigate the process.

Requirements: Must be a Douglas County resident.

Cost: We will assist clients in obtaining all needed ID. If it is determined by the case worker that the client does have the monetary means to obtain the needed ID, we can still help them with the process.
