What is 'Sign Language? (SLIS)'

MCC's Sign Language Studies courses introduce students to the structure of American Sign Language and help students develop an understanding of the deaf community and deaf culture.

More training is required for students to become Sign language intepreters. MCC's cerfiticate program transfers seamlessly into Iowa Western Community College's Sign Language Interpreting Associate's degree program.
