A closed caption decoder can be requested each quarter or as-needed via a helpdesk ticket. Please allow 2 weeks before it is needed to allow for installation.
There are three types of closed caption decoders that are used in the techrooms. The Universal, MyCap and TV Guardian.
A Closed Caption Decoder is also built into the new NEC VT800 projector.
Universal
To operate the universal, push the power button on the front right side.
MyCap
To turn on the MyCap, use the triangular shaped buttons to select Caption and L1.
TV Guardian
To operate, flip the metal switch in the upper left hand corner. The green light next to the metal switch will light to show it is working.

To use, select Menu on the projector remote, select Setup, Menu, then Closed Caption, select Caption 1-4. |
