Metropolitan Community College will provide proctoring services to non-MCC students needing to take non-MCC tests (i.e. remote COMPASS tests, distance education tests, other tests for out of state institutions). MCC reserves the right to schedule these exams based on availability of seating and ability to accommodate testing expectations.
Please have the requesting institution contact the location at which you are wanting to test. The staff there will be proctoring the exams and can complete necessary paperwork*.
*A $30 proctored exam fee is required for EACH exam. Students must pay this proctor fee prior to Testing Center staff completing any required paperwork from institutions requesting certfiying information. A receipt must be presented before the proctors will complete certification paperwork.
MCC will limit the special accommodations for testers with documented disabilities to extended test times and a reduced distraction environment. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide readers or scribes for proctored assessments.
If exams/results are required to be returned via US postal service, postage will be additional and will be the paid by the student.
An instructor transmittal form is required with each exam, whether submitted online or in hard copy. Exams and transmittal forms must be received at least 24 hours prior to the student making an appointment.
Students are expected to make appointments for proctored tests. Appointments made by instructors are not accepted.
Proctored exams are only given at these locations and by appointment only:

Testing Center staff members are not responsible for duplicating, correcting, or interpreting exams.
