Great Plains Theatre Conference Featured Artists

Each year the Great Plains Theatre Conference honors an established playwright. This year, Doug Wright will receive the Great Plains Playwright Award.

Doug has won numerous awards during his career both as a playwright and as a screenplay writer. Among his works are I Am My Own Wife (Pulitzer Prize, Tony Award), Quills (OBIE Award), Grey Gardens and the stage adaptation of The Little Mermaid currently on stage.
