Barbee Davis has a Masters in Theatre Arts from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. She has directed locally, and ran the Fort Totten Little Theatre in North Dakota for two years.
As an Equity performer, Barbee appeared in numerous theatrical productions. She was an Artist-in-Residence in Musical Theatre for the Nebraska Arts Council, working with high school performers. Voice-over work, professional speaking engagements, and university teaching round out Barbee’s professional career.
Currently, Barbee writes a semi-monthly column for the Project Management Institute’s (PMI) Community Post publication. Her second book will be published this summer. She is an international reviewer for training organizations wishing to be part of the Registered Education Program for PMI.
Barbee is the Secretary for the Nebraska Shakespeare Festival Community Board, which helps organize the Shakespeare in the Park program.
This is Barbee’s fourth year as a play judge/respondent for the playwriting festival.
