Max Sparber is a playwright, blogger, and arts journalist who lives in Minneapolis. His first play, Minstrel Show, or The Lynching of William Brown was first produced by Omaha's Blue Barn Theatre in 1998, and told the true story of the murder of an African American man in Omaha in 1919.
