Amy LaneAmy Lane

Amy Lane is an instructor with the University of Nebraska-Omaha’s department of Theatre. She holds a BFA from Creighton University, an MFA in Directing from the University of Memphis and a PhD from Wayne State University. She has directed and acted at numerous theatres around the country. Recent local productions include the upcoming Mrs. Jenning’s Sitter by Ellen Struve (which was a showcased play at the 2008 GPTC) premiering this July at the Shelterbelt Theatre. Accompanying that play will be the premiere of Struve’s Mountain Lion, a selection at this year’s Conference, in which Amy can be seen in the role of Peggy.
