Bonnie GillBonnie Gill

Bonnie Gill co-founder of the Grande Olde Players 24 years ago with Mark Manhart, handled the business aspects in the early years and quickly moved into costuming, performing and directing. Her favorite role was Maggie in The Man Who Came to Dinner and her two favorite directing experiences were with Neil Simon’s Lost in Yonkers and Gore Vidal’s The Best Man. Bonnie started the Jazz on Stage series where local professionals performed on Sunday evenings after an open jam session in the lobby combining professionals and students. She has directed or acted at the Great Plains Theatre Conference these four years and takes vacation from her position with AAA magazines in order to attend as many play readings as possible. Last year she produced and directed Dressing Matilda, by Marilyn MacCrakin, after hearing it read several years ago at the conference.
