Emily NeveEmily Neve

Emily Neve is excited to be involved for the first time with the Great Plains Theatre Conference. Mostly recently she was Donna in Chanticleer’s The Taffetas where she also played Miss Watson/Strange Woman in Big River, Sibyl Chase in Private Lives, Tricia in A Chorus Line, and Susanna Wallcott in The Crucible. Last fall, Emily played the role of Germaine in UNO’s fall production of Picasso at the Lapin Agile and last summer was in SNAP!’s The Little Dog Laughed as Ellen(TAG Best Supporting Actress nominee 2008) last summer. She was also an ensemble member of A My Name is Alice (Broadstreet Productions) and Nine (Little Apple). She graduated from Dana College in 2004, where she was active in both the theater and choir department and is currently pursuing her Masters in Theater at UNO. Emily teaches Speech and Radio Broadcasting at Buffett Magnet Middle School where she also runs and directs the Drama Program. She is an active member of Brookside Church and a Board Member of the Theatre Arts Guild. Emily extends special thanks to her parents, Angela, Jada, Laura, Dara, the “fearsome threesome” cohorts, and Mark for their support and encouragement.
