Ron ZankRon Zank

Ron Zank received an M.A. in Theatre from the University of Nebraska–Omaha (UNO) in 2006. For last year´s Great Plains Theatre Conference, he directed Christmas Cookies and Dialogue Heard on a Flooded River. Directing projects in the metro area include Fool for Love (Rated AAARRR Productions); The King and I and Stop the World, I Want to Get Off (Chanticleer Theater); Once Upon a Mattress and Pageant (Dundee Dinner Theatre); Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Iowa Western Community College); Jazz Hands for Baby Jesus (BlueBarn´s Witching Hour) and The Rimers of Eldritch and The Bakkhai (UNO). He is currently directing The Day Omaha Exploded at the Shelterbelt Theatre that was read in the short play labs at last year´s Conference. This fall he will begin pursuing his Ph.D. at the University of Missouri–Columbia.
