Mr. Salonis has become a regular company member, first appearing on the Brigit stage as the peacock, Osric, in Hamlet. Following potrayals include one of the angels in My Three Angels; Medvedenko in The Sea Gull; the Thane of Ross in Macbeth in rep with Mortimer Brewster in Arsenic and Old Lace; Manus in Translations; Dog Hamma in Orpheus Descending; Murray in The Odd Couple; and the narrator Warwick from The Lark . Last season Eric became a triple threat, not only continuing to act (in Anna Christie and She Stoops to Conquer), but also excelling as Brigit guest director for The Shadow of a Gunman. That was followed by another directing stint at the Shelterbelt Theatre where he mounted the full-length play that he also authored: Acrobat. He continues to hold a primary interest in play writing and is at work on another project.
