Gary WallaceGary Wallace

Gary Wallace is a veteran of many theatrical productions in Omaha as a singer, dancer and actor. Originally from Iowa, Gary was part of the Firehouse Dinner Theater Brigade in the 70s, he also performed at the Upstairs Dinner Theater, Aksarben Coronations, the Omaha Ballet and Opera Omaha. Some of his favorite roles include Action in Westside Story, Tommy Keeler in Annie Get your Gun, Beverly Carlton in The Man Who Came to Dinner (a role he has played in three different productions), Geoffrey in Stepping Out, and Geoffrey in The Dresser. Gary made his directorial debut at the Grande Olde Players Theater with I Do I Do and two originals he wrote Return to Vaudeville and George, Cole and the Duke. Gary’s education was in broadcast journalism and he is retired from US West Communications.
