Jake Waid Jake Waid

Jake Waid is from Juneau, Alaska where he has appeared in several productions with Perseverance Theatre, including: Hamlet (Title Role), The Glass Menagerie (Tom), and Macbeth (Title Role) which was translated into his native Tlingit language and performed at the National Museum of the American Indian in Washington DC. He is also a founding member of Fairbanks Shakespeare Theatre, now entering its 17th season. Some productions with FST include: Much Ado About Nothing (Benedick), Julius Caesar (Butus), and two touring productions; Hamlet (title role) at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Edinburgh, Scotland, and Henry V (title role) at The Brisbane Festival in Brisbane, Australia. Most recently Mr. Waid appeared in Shakespeare & Company's National Tour of Hamlet (Horatio), which will also see a run this summer at their home base in Lenox, MA, along with Twelfth Night (Sebastian).
