Teri Fender

Returning for her fourth year to the Great Plains Theatre Conference, Teri is thrilled to once again be joining the company of such terrific writers and fellow actors, including her dear, talented friends Max Sparber and Maddie Radcliff, and the amazing Mac Wellman. Last year’s conference was especially exciting for Teri, as she was truly honored with the opportunity to work with Marshall Mason and Danny Irvine, performing for Doug Wright in an abbreviated version of his short play, “Wildwood Park”. In addition to occasionally working in radio and television, Teri is a local community theatre actor who has performed on nearly every stage in Omaha, appearing in such diverse roles as Lynette ‘Squeaky’ Fromme in “Assassins”, Sissy in “Come Back to the Five and Dime, Jimmy Dean, Jimmy Dean”, Trisha in “Five Women Wearing the Same Dress”, Carla Albanese in “Nine”, Sara in “Stop Kiss”, Janet Weiss in “The Rocky Horror Show”, Olivia Darnell in “Shakespeare in Hollywood”, and Judy Garland in “Christmas with the Crawfords”. Most recently, Teri wrapped up a successful run of “Bat Boy: The Musical” (as Mayor Maggie and Ron Taylor), and will be kicking off her next project, playing various roles in “Reefer Madness”, this June.
