Crash! Boom! Pow!

Crash! Boom! Pow! is the story of Benny, a completely unremarkable man, who dreams of a better life. One day, Benny buys a ticket from a mysterious man so that he can escape “the abyss of meaninglessness that I know lies just before my feet.” He is thrown into a world of robots, superheroes, magical amulets, wolves, bogeymen, cicadas and onomatopoetic word bubbles. The play is about good, evil, love, hate and beautiful women who fly. Crash! Boom! Pow! is inspired by Charles L. Mee’s (re)making project.
