Songs are impossible to avoid in everyday life, and music has a powerful effect on what is happening on stage. In this workshop we’ll explore some uses of music -- to generate material for playwrights/directors, to animate an inner life for performers of all kinds, and other strangely serviceable stuff we can steal from the songs that surround us.
