Vincent Lee Alston

Vincent Lee Alston has been acting for nearly fifteen years. He "cut his teeth" in a dual role performance at the University of Louisville. He played Obidiah in August Wilson's THE HOME COMING and "Cutler" in MA' RAINEY. He has portrayed "Walter Lee Younger" in A RAISIN IN THE SUN at the John Beasley Theatre as well JOE TURNER'S COME AND
GONE
. One of his favorite roles is playing Malcolm X in Jeff Stetson's THE MEETING. He runs a small media company called VLA PRODUCTIONS as well as a Computer Consulting company. Vincent has produced his first film, FOR LOVE OF AMY, which opened at THE RAVE Theater in 2009. AMY was directed by Ted Lange (Isaac on THE LOVE BOAT). His next film project, PRAYIN' FOR A WIND, is now in development and is slated to star John Beasley and Tony nominated Anthony Chisholm.
