Ben Beck


Ben Beck's most recent work was as Orsino in the University of Nebraska-Omaha's production of Twelfth Night. Other previous roles include Sir Edward Clarke in Gross Indecency, Multiple Roles in Almost, Maine, and Ralph in Reefer Madness. For his acting work, Ben has received the Clarence Teal Cameo Award from the Omaha Community Playhouse, an Omaha Entertainment Award, and three awards from the Theatre Arts Guild of Omaha. He has directed and taught acting and improvisation for the Boys and Girls Club, The Omaha Community Playhouse, and Omaha Public Schools. In 2009, he co-wrote the play, Crash! Boom! Pow! which was read at the Great Plains Theatre Conference. In January, Ben wrapped production on the film, Up Button which he assures will be a major motion picure. He is currently attends the University of Nebraska-Omaha where is completing a degree in Theatre Education.
